Worbla Bracer Class project Prof. Reba Senske UC College-Conservatory of Music 2023
For this project we were instructed to make a bracer out of worbla and were allowed to design it however we wanted. So I chose to make a bracer that could be worn by the Greek god Hades. My idea was to make it look like the souls of those Hades has defeated are trapped in his armor.
To achieve this, I made a few face molds out of oven bake clay and pressed the worbla into them using heat. Then shaped the worbla into the bracer shape.
Video showing the iridescence.
I also added strips around the top and wrist to add detail.
