About Me
I am a freelance costume designer and technician
I find inspiration in the strange and uncommon for my design work, but I also love the focus and organization required for constructing a garment. I view designing a show as a process of "world-building" and work closely with Director, performers and design team to flesh out characters. I have a fondness for teaching, specifically helping someone find what they're passionate about and supporting their growth in that area. I also have a love for history and pop-culture, using them as references in my designs and builds. I graduated from Otterbein University in 2019 with a BA in Theatre and just received my MFA in Costume Design & Technology from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. Some of my hobbies include printmaking, drawing, antiquing and videogames. |
Current ProjectsI am currently working freelance as a Designer, Technician and Professor in the Cincinnati area
