Foam Pauldrons Class project Prof. Rebecca Senske UC College-Conservatory of Music 2023
For this project we were given a pattern for foam pauldrons. I cut out, assembled and painted the pauldrons. Then added decor of my own design and creation, using the Greek gods Hades and Persephone as inspiration.

The "Persephone" shoulder I painted a lighter metal and the "Hades" shoulder and darker metal.

For "Hades" design I used foam clay to sculpt a skull and shrinky-dink plastic to make the flames.
For "Persephone," I broke open Styrofoam balls and used their inner texture to make pomegranates and pomegranate seeds.
