Frankenstein - The Bride fabric
Designer - Natasha Cox

For this project I took plain, untreated silk habotai and treated it to get organic looking pleats.

To achieve this look, I soaked the fabric in vinegar for an hour, rung it dry by hand and then spread out the fabric length-wise, folding it a few times, and finally tightly twisting it from both ends till it formed a tight ball. Securing the twists with ties, I put the fabric through the drier to set the lines.
